Tar vs Paving

Tarring a driveway, road, pathway or walkway is much more cost-effective than paving. Paving an area requires a lot more labour than tarring a surface because you need to cut bricks, lay patterns etc. This means you need more labour to pave a surface than to tar one which is why hiring a tarring company near you would be much more cost-effective.

Once the ground is prepped and the surface is tarred you can basically leave the tarred area untouched. If the tarring job is done professionally, it will last years without needing any maintenance. Whereas paving requires much more maintenance. Replacing cracked bricks, replacing bricks that have faded from exposure to the elements.

Laying paving is much more time consuming than tarring a surface. A professional tarring company could have your driveway tarred in one full day whereas paving would take at least two-three days, depending on how many pavers are available to complete the job.

Tarring is much more durable than paving which means you spend less money on maintenance, repairing and replacing the tar surface than you would if you paved the area.
